Vice President, General Manager of Optimum West Pacific

Kathleen Preston serves as Vice President, General Manager of Optimum West Pacific. In this role, Mrs. Preston leads local sales, operations, and engagement efforts across Optimum’s West Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and California footprint, ensuring best-in-class service and support to more than 60 communities in Optimum’s West Pacific Area. This includes identifying and implementing a hyperlocal strategy across Optimum’s West Pacific service area to grow market share and drive local sales growth, while minimizing churn.    

With 25 years of sales, marketing, and operational leadership experience, Mrs. Preston is a seasoned professional skilled in building and growing award-winning teams as well as developing and implementing comprehensive sales trainings in organizations of all sizes. Mrs. Preston most recently served as Senior Director of Residential Digital Sales and Marketing at Cox Communications, where she was responsible for driving new customer relationships and improving customer experience through enhanced digital touchpoints. 

As a dedicated leader, Mrs. Preston has a proven track record of success in providing guidance and leadership across various sales channels and regional teams, including retail stores, third party distribution, call centers, chat centers and e-commerce. 

Mrs. Preston received her B.A. in Communications with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona.
