Optimum Business and the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance Announce the Winners of the L.L.B. Grants
30 small businesses across Southwest Louisiana to receive a $3,000 grant to support
“Lifting up Louisiana Small Businesses”
LOUISIANA (SEPTEMBER 24, 2024) – Optimum Business, the provider of advanced internet, mobile, TV, and phone services, and the Southwest Louisiana (SWLA) Economic Development Alliance today announce the grant winners of the L.L.B. Grants, which will directly fund 30 small businesses across five parishes in Southwest Louisiana.
Each small business will receive a $3,000 grant to help support their growth and long-term success while further expanding and contributing to the prosperity of the communities where they serve. Featured grant recipients include:
Blue Light Behavioral Services in DeQuincy: An applied behavior analysis clinic that provides therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and looking to use the funds to purchase technology and materials needed to expand learning for children.
Iles Medical Testing in Lake Charles: A company offering collection and testing services for a variety of industries that will use their funds to purchase a new interpretative EKG machine.
Southland Environmental, LLC in Lake Charles: A company providing regulatory and permitting consulting services as well as environmental site assessment and remediation services, with plans to use the grant to purchase additional technology to better serve their clients.
The Village Coffeehouse in Sulphur: A local coffeeshop and bakery hoping to create a more comfortable environment for guests with new furniture.
