Suddenlink Selected by Arizona’s Broadband Development Grant Program to Build Fiber Network in La Paz and Coconino Counties

Suddenlink, a brand of Altice USA, today announces that it has been selected by the Arizona Broadband Development Grant (ABDG) program to build out its Fiber Internet network to more than 7,000 homes and businesses in Arizona’s La Paz and Coconino counties.  

The network build will be funded by a $6 million subsidy from the state in addition to a substantial investment by Suddenlink. The project also includes building out fiber to certain anchor institutions including many schools, medical centers, fire stations, and churches.

The company’s Fiber Internet network will bring customers cutting-edge broadband service with: 

• Reliable, ultra-fast internet to support all connected devices in the home or office  
• The latest Smart WiFi technology for whole home WiFi coverage 
• Symmetrical internet speeds, for fast uploading and downloading  
• Low latency for seamless streaming, gaming, video conferencing and other data-intensive activities  

Earlier this year, Suddenlink was also awarded a subsidy grant to build Fiber Internet to more than 7,500 homes and businesses in Yavapai County, Arizona. The company already serves over 29 communities in Arizona, passing more than 220,000 homes and businesses across the state.
