Vice President, General Manager of Optimum Mid Central

Jesus (Jesse) Garcia serves as Vice President, General Manager of Optimum Mid Central. In this role, Mr. Garcia leads local sales, operations, and engagement efforts across Optimum’s Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, East Kansas, East Oklahoma, and West Mississippi footprint, ensuring best-in-class service and support to more than 300 communities in Optimum’s Mid Central Area. This includes identifying and implementing hyperlocal strategies and activities to grow market share and drive local sales growth while minimizing churn.   

Over the course of his 20-plus year career in the cable operations industry, Mr. Garcia has held a multitude of leadership roles, where he demonstrated his unwavering commitment to growing and enhancing operational teams. Prior to joining Optimum, Mr. Garcia led Comcast’s National Field Operations frontline initiatives and supported Comcast Field Service & Commercial Business Operations for market and enterprise level deployments.  

His extensive tenure in the telecommunications world has positioned him uniquely to excel at Optimum, having first joined the company in 2023 as Regional VP of Operations in Optimum’s Texoma Area, where he fortified the company’s presence in a fiercely competitive market by driving improved operational and employee engagement. Mr. Garcia is a strategic leader with the ability to build high-performing teams across various cross departmental platforms, while inspiring his peers, employees, and business partners to help drive a business forward.  

Beyond his professional milestones, Mr. Garcia has dedicated a significant portion of his career to higher education, investing 11 years of his career in earning several Business Degrees from the University of Houston and the University of Phoenix, with his most recent achievement of an MBA in Business Administration.
